Blast furnace’s iron trough is made up with iron trough, slag trough and swing spout. This material is directly affected by the iron liquid and slag washout, machinery wear and big thermal shock change. So, the HN series iron trough materials has following advantages:

(1)Good erosion resistance to iron melt and slag;

(2)good oxidation resistance;

(3)high strength and good thermal shock resistance;

(4)easy to construct, repair and remove.

This series products has been widely used in Shougang, Meigang large-middle blast furnace and to produce 30-120 thousand tons steel in one cycle. The castable can also be made into precast block for direct use.
